In 1979, I did my first demo at a studio called Kaye Smith in Seattle. At that time it was the only way to get a good one. The best thing that came out of that was meeting Steve Miller and Ann & Nancy Wilson, who were recording albums. In the early 80s,I was playing in band called the "Smoldering Remains". In the late 80s I met Scott McCaughey, who was working at a record shop called Cellophane Square in Seattles University District. He had just put out a LP with his band the Young Fresh Fellows and was playing the LP at the store. He encouraged me to pursue my songwriting.I am still writing songs and recording. Seattle producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Hot Hot Heat) recently mastered my 3rd cd in 2004. Its called Bar Chords and Wasted Time.
