Today I've posted my remake of Tamara Lempicka's Autoportrait (1925). It is the first time I took the liberty of reproducing an existing painting of a well-known artist.

Today I've posted my latest work, named "Emotion". It took, from the moment I started with this oil painting, 4 months to finish it. I'm still learning. There is so much to learn. Composition, choice of brushes, the way to use them, mixing colors, touch. Feel free to share you thoughts.
Today I posted my latest work of Thusnelda, an oil portrait of one of the main characters of the Netflix series Barbarians. Actress: Jeanne Goursaud. I was struck by this fierce, strong woman who had fought against and ultimately was captured by the Romans.
I updated my portfolio with some earlier digital paintings and an only recently finished oil painting of Ragnar Lothbrock (Vikings).
Hi Everyone! The coming weeks I will be uploading a lot of my digital artwork, It's a representation of the work that I made from 2013 till 2023. Since Artificial Intelligence made its appearance I lost appetite in creating digital paintings by Photoshop. Instead I found my way back to oil (on water base!) and acrylic painting. The coming months I will be focussed in making art on canvas and paper. Only recently I discovered Cobra by Royal Talens, an oil painting on waterbase. Great materialI must say! Feel free to react in this blog.
