My photography started on the Sunrise of 2000. I took a series of 5 photos which are documented in the USA Library of Congress as the "First Sunrise of 2000". Since then I have won many art awards. The most popular photos are "Calming The Storm Series which have been sold world wide. Was the first artist to be accepted by Lumigraph Art to be published. Larry L. Weingartner is known for having taken a photograph of the first sunrise of 2000 for which he earned a copyright. His inspirational photographs are hanging in the Texas Governor's Mansion, the White House, the Bush Presidential Library in College Station and the South Texas Institute for the Arts in Corpus Christi, his home town.
