Andre' Moreau is an Emmy-winning veteran TV news anchor with 30-plus years experience, but as a self-taught photographer, he's about as 'new' as a newcomer can be. He's owned a 'real' camera less than a year. It was with the camera of an iPhone that he first took pictures, documenting and posting in Facebook the changes he watched taking place in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He focused mainly on the multiple new construction projects that had already changed the face of the downtown area. The use of social media, like Facebook, has become a major part of the daily job of a TV news journalist. Andre's purchase of a Canon DSLR camera opened a new world of stories he could tell online with the use of a professional grade camera. Mainly, his pictures were just better and people daily began noticing the more vivid images and the result? The launching of a new career in photography.
