I believe that artists are born being creative. I've always been artistic. Creativity is in my blood. My parents were musical, and they encouraged my artistic side. I started drawing when I was about 10 years old, started writing poetry when I was 15, and began painting in my 20's. I am self-taught. I paint what I feel, then hope that someone will be touched or moved by it. My art is mostly Abstract. My favorite artists come from different artistic genres, however; a lot of them were Impressionist or Post-Impressionist artists. Looking at other artists' work inspires me. I can get lost in it, spending hours on various art websites, appreciating other peoples' art! We each have our own unique style, yet we are all part of one family. Nature, also, inspires me. I need to see it to feel alive! Trees and the Moon are personal favorites, but all forms of nature touch me deeply. I live in Northeast Ohio, where the winters are cold and the people are warm.
