Gordon Williams is a Cape Town based artist who has lived in Riebeek Kasteel for 20 years.

His passion for painting supersedes his many other talents and is an expression of his intimate relationship with the Swartland.

Since his first solo exhibition in September 2013, he has concentrated mainly on 'Pleine Aire' paintings of the surrounding landscapes.

Rather than document the Swartland in paint, Gordon translates the rugged beauty of this harsh and dramatic landscape through moodful and emotive canvases.
