Summer has arrived. Next week Cassie and I enter the Wilderness. Yesterday I roamed > 7 miles and ascended to 8000 feet with no problem. not bad for one north of three score and ten....
What happened in London last night is beyond reproach! When will the elected idiots wake up and admit the muslims are insane murders and islam is not a religion it is a political system. this morning Cassie and I depart for Glacier National Park. It isn't open yet (we will have access) so no tourists and wondering folks ! However the bears, all species, are emerging from hibernation. They awake and are quite groggy for several days and wonder about eating grass. This is necessary to re-atart their digestive processes...wish us well!
the Eagles are mating! Soon Mama Eagle will nest and sit for about 41 days until the babies arrive. The the work begins feeding them. Of course the trout spawn will slip in and be a bloody free for all...including the wolves who arrive with the night to feast on the trout left by their friends the Eagles

I used to think I was just a regular guy, but . . . I was born white, which now, whether I like it or not, makes me a racist. I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which by today's standards, makes me a fascist. I am heterosexual, which according to gay folks, now makes me a homophobic. I am non-union, which makes me a traitor to the working class and an ally of big business. I am a Christian, which now labels me as an infidel. I believe in the 2nd Amendment, which now makes me a member of the vast gun lobby. I am older than 65, which makes me a useless old man. I think and I reason, therefore I doubt much that the main stream media tells me, which must make me a reactionary. I am proud of my heritage and our inclusive American culture, which makes me a xenophobe. I value my safety and that of my family and I appreciate the police and the legal system, which makes me a right-wing extremist. I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist. I believe in the defense and protection of the homeland for and by all citizens, which now makes me a militant.
Now, a sick old woman is calling me and my friends a basket of deplorables. Please help me come to terms with the new me . . . because I'm just not sure who I am anymore!

New Years Day, 2017...2F. The animals are sleeping in. The raptors are sunning and watch for the ice fishermen to clean their catch to swoop in and feast on the entrals. Cassie snores
For the past two days I was in Hamilton, Montana at a church named: The Place. I was attending "The Give Away" in Hamilton. There was an amazing amount of clothes, toys, decent furniture, etc. All free. Gathered by the church for an entire year. Over a thousand people came. I shot 944 pictures. It was gut wrenching ... three times I wept openly.... A lady in her late twenties came in with five little children, the oldest perhaps eight and toting a neonate...they all wore rags, not worn out clothes, r a g s ! ?? Then there was an eight year old who arrived with her parents. She found a stuffed bear, fetched it, walked to a corner, sat down, hugged and embraced the little bear and had the happiest look as if Jesus had given her the desire of her heart. ?? Then this little girl, perhaps eight or nine walked past me. I have never seen a person so thin who wasn't near death. She came alone, poorly clothed and was trying to find things she could wear. (I could 'feel' the pain, despair, hopelessness within her) I so wanted to help her; alas, men are no longer allowed to help children in our perverted, liberal thinking, society! I fetched two of the church ladies and dispatched them to help and get to know her. The Holy Spirit spoke to me, I took my money and covertly passed it to one of the women telling her to give it to the child. When she did so, the child almost fainted. ??????
It was about a three hour drive back home for me ...I cried most of the way.
If not for that little church, these people would have nothing!!!
This is America …”We The People” must stand and take care of each other ~ the government is a sick joke where sociopaths enrich and empower themselves… make an effort…. Help someone today!
