... "To me, the most important step in my work is that all the designs, proportions, attitudes, etc. is done in an initial, traditional drawing using pencil/graphite/charcoal. I first draw a sketch to get the proportions and general feel down, which I then scan into Photoshop to be painted... One of the advantages of working in the digital art discipline is the freedom to expand into multiple dimensions and different non-visual mediums. Digital art is not bound to the 2D canvas the way traditional art generally is."
