Gary Darrar entered the photography field in 1983. He is self taught and worked in various types of photography until 1990 when he started to concentrate his skills on photographing people (mainly women). At this time he also opened his first studio in a second floor 700 square foot office space in the main business district of Linden, NJ and converted it to fit his needs. After successfully building up the business and gaining much notoriety for his work in glamour and fashion he needed much more studio space to expand the business further. In 1997 he moved his studio into a 2800 square foot first floor store front only two blocks away from the original studio and continued to expand his successful career. Gary has always worked alone, as he believes in giving his clients the quality they expect by seeing every part of the job through personally. He has become known and noted by many in the modeling and photography industry for his lighting and studio effects and being able to accomplish a wide range of shooting styles. He has been published internationally as well as nationally in many various types of publications with subjects such as erotica, fashion, glamour, classic cars and photographic techniques and lighting. His work can also be found on numerous web sites. He has gained the status of becoming one of the most known photographers on the world wide web. He has helped many models with his work and guidance to become successful in their careers.
