I have attempted to create art of some form all my life but began to take it more seriously after a course covering the techniques of watercolour. Since retiring from work I have managed to spend a bit more time on this hobby although grandchildren and the pace of life for a retiree have meant this is not as much as I would have liked. I have begun to use photography as a method of creating pictures in their own right, also since retiring. Prior to this I have only used photography as a means of capturing an image as part of the development of a drawing or painting.

I work by some simple rules - If I don't like it, you don't get it and you don't pay, if you don't like it you don't have to have it but you do pay a nominal fee towards materials; if we both like it you pay an agreed but sensible fee.
