Artist Bio

Since an early age J. M. DeSantis showed promise in and dedication to both writing and illustration, graduating from Pratt Institute before the advent of his professional career. Traditionally, J. M. works in the genres of fantasy and horror. His written work consists of short stories, comic scripts, and poetry, while his illustrations are created to compliment these.

J. M. DeSantis received his professional start by pencilling a story for the Comicbook Artists Guild and has continued to see his work published ever since. His stories and illustrations have been published by Heavy Metal Magazine, Static Movement, the Comicbook Artists Guild, Atlas Unleashed and Planet Lovecraft Magazine. He has also contributed art to two of Mike Scheider's massive collabrative artist projects: Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated and What is the Use of a Book Without Pictures? (currently in development), the latter being a completely illustrated, non-text version of Alice in Wonderland.

In 2010 J. M. DeSantis co-created the humorous video game site, Game-Flush.com (www.game-flush.com), where (under the moniker The Corporate Ninja) he writes articles, reviews and writes and illustrates a monthly webcomic. J. M. also contributes to Game-Flush's sister-site, Movie-Flush.com. He is the illustrator and chief graphics designer for both sites.

Other than his continued involvement with Game-Flush, J. M. DeSantis is currently working on a number of projects and stories.
