Statement: Descent in the Psyche’s underwood: the archetypal language of the emotions. “Picture is just a way to the soul” (Kandisky)

Authoress’ research, made with modern expressive instruments, having a strong visual impact, as, for example, Swarovski, micro-sphere, river pearls, mixed with paste and wood, wants to get and to transform in symbols the archetypal of collective unconscousness, which, in their darkness, constellating, rush into the consciousness. Science and art history, from math, to the music, to the visual arts, to the highest philosophical speculation, remembers us the dangers where this constellation takes both the artist and the scientist, but even the extraordinary creative and vivifying potential of Jung’s “individuation process”. Between the figures able to attract libido, arises, more powerful of the other figures, the “hermaphrodite”, a union between male and female elements, symbol of the original and indiscriminate unity between consciousness and unconsciousness. Here philosophical research joins the psychological one, art becomes the most important “philosophical instrument”, as theorized, for example, in Schelling’s “Transcendental Idealism System”, in Heidegger’s “Essay on Poetry”, or trough Nietzsche’s tragic artist figure. At this time she is working at digital images, gimp program. The aim is put together traditional and new media. For example overlapping digital images and traditional 3D support(clay, wood, swarovski on big canvas). Moving Energy featured on sfmoma submission Friday on tumbrl!!
