I like painting before representing and if the spectator holds(retains) only a visual sensation, a puzzling emotion, I have then the feeling to have reached(affected) the main part. My comment is to emphasize the unexpected, the importance of the fate, bringing to light the autonomy of the paint(painting) on the support(medium).
