Thanks for watching. I'm Yusra and i live in Holland. I paint with oil. I like to work realistic and I like to work abstract. My realistic flower paintings are based on an idea to paint something symbolic for “the garden of Eden”. With this theme I want to say: “Look around you, everything we need is here. Take time for each other and don’t get swallowed in everyday’s rat race,…." I’m a spiritual but non religious person. With my abstract paintings I like to stand still for a moment. To take a detail out of one of my realistic paintings, to stand still and get everything out of it. Like a moment of life, standing still. As turbulent as life can get. Painting gives me moments to stand still, meditate and just watch,.. I hope I’m able to give other people the joy to stand still and watch for a moment too.
