Janet holds a BFA from Brigham Young University, Provo, UT, and MsEd from Bank Street College of Education and Parsons School of Design, New York, NY. She developed courses and taught fashion illustration undergraduate courses for 5 years. Her figure and fashion illustrations are published in several Fairchild books. She also taught watercolor and drawing classes.
The '90s gave Ms Raty experience in computers for education and other commercial fields, with work as an art director, webmaster, and in marketing communications.
