My work has been exhibited since public school as a young graphic artist and painter included in special exhibition at Madison Square Garden. I was a finalist in the only fellowship program I ever contested in N.Y.C. USA. Over the years I slowly transformed from graphic artist into photographer/poet. I am a conservationist, amature naturalist & environmentalist interested in saving our biodiversity from destruction. I have over 11,000 images on the PHOTOGRAPHERSDIRECT.COM web site and have published images used in United Nations publication on Spain and In decoration of the Los Angeles Zoo Asian Elephant House. I have images from around the world that focus on architecture, ancient civilizations, world history, travel, people, religion, world cultures,landscapes, geology, botany, zoology, biology, nature, entomology, art in nature, art, sculpture ect. Fairly recently my Picture Man Gazing at Illuminated Float on The Mekong was selected as one of the best pictures of the day by National Geographic. I am presently concentrating on Macro shooting of insects, spiders, invertebrates in painterly images w emphasis on impressionistic background colors and forms that contrast & highlight the subject with natural muted light. I also have started work on a new abstract digital art series that includes the whimsical and spiritual cosmic series Faces of GOD and imaginary visions of the macro & micro universe still unseen.
