I have enjoyed drawing with pencils all my life, but just recently started drawing all the time, 2004. I draw people's houses, landmarks and structures around the Greenville, South Carolina area.
I was born in Springfield, Mass, moved to a small town in Northern New Jersey, Mountain Lakes. My mother is a retired art teacher and I attribute most all my talents from her advice and encouragement over the years. When it came time to leave home and go off to college, I picked Clemson University, graduated with a BS degree in Accounting, and settled down in the Greenville area. I have lived in Greenville since 1981.
I have pencil drawings that were picked in the top 40 of the Upstate Artisphere Juried competitions of 2008 and 2009. I have had booths at the following shows, “Art in the Park”, “Holiday Fair”, “Hill Skills”, and various smaller shows around the Greenville area.
I am a volunteer at the Greenville County Art Museum and I am a member of the Metropolitan Arts Council and Upstate Visual Arts.
I charge $255.00 for an original drawing of your house and I mat it to fit a standard 16x20 frame. The drawing itself is about 9x12 in size. All I need is a photograph.
