Joseph Verschueren was born in 1945 in the Netherlands near the border with Belgium. Finally moved back to his homeland Belgium in 1977. After his retirement age pension in 2004 he started studies at the art academy in Sint Niklaas. He prefers to paint landscapes and plays tennis to keep fit
