Self Portrait

A member of N.A.P.A. (National Acrylic Painters Association) and an Associate of O K Studio Artists Kollective.

These paintings are an interpretation of my emotional response to a culture that is obsessed with visual information. The psychological effects of over exposure to the media is a fascinating subject and provide me with ongoing research.

"The context within which we experience an event will determine how that event is encoded and retained". (Oxford Companion to the Mind- Richard L Gregory- 1987) Education.
