I am a self-taught artist working and living in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I found Art in 1991 and since the discovery... it has been the difference.

My work is about harmony and exploration. The intent is to create poetic color stories with images that suggest more. I experiment with the relativity of color, appearance and storytelling while manipulating the tension between ambiguity and clarity with the usage of color and form. The abstraction explorations have led me to "alternative" worlds with "alternate" characters. These explorations attempt to release the viewers from their concepts of the world and allows them to interact with newly created "alternate" worlds, with no choice but to return to their world with a new perspective.

It is my responsibility and privilege to create unique visions. My determination is to get beyond personal "tunnel" vision. The value of seeing other perspectives, visions and points of view are immeasurable to stirring the imagination. It leads to a better connection to ourselves, to each other, to our world and to the universe. I drive to do this for myself as well as anyone seeing my work.
