I first started painting professionally at the age of 12. At the ages of 12, 13 and 14 I exhibited in the "Star Art Exhibition". At the age of 15 I achieved the highest mark for art in New Zealand schools for 1985 School Certificate. I was then accepted to study at Elam Art, School in Auckland at the age of 15. Elam is one of the best Art Universities in New Zealand, however I declined as I wished to study other subjects as well as painting for the next few years, believing in a modern renaissance I studied other subjects at Auckland University. I then went overseas and got accepted into one of Australias finest Art Schools "The Royal Melbourne Institute", where I studied for two years. I completed my final year of my Bachelor of Fine Art majoring in painting in USA. This year I have been asked to Exhibit in 20 countries around the world. New Zealand, Hong Kong (China), New York (USA), Cyprus, Barcelona (Spain), Geneva (Switzerland),Melbourne (Australia), Florence (Italy) to name a few.
