When starting this auto biography I was really tempted to include things such as mermaids, gypsies, and witches. As much as I wish my life was that colorful, its not. But I’m still young, 15 to be exact, and I don’t expect my life to be a novel yet, a paragraph at most. (Or two including this intro.) My name is Hailee Caitlin Anderson. I was born on the 12th of October in 1994. (No matter what my dad says its ’94, not ’93.) Had my parents listened to my sister’s request for a name, I would be Rose. At least then people would be able to spell my name on their 1st try. I have a horribly selective memory. So this might be a bit dull. One of my earliest memories is getting purple putty stuck to the carpet inside my closet. My earliest important memory was when I was around five; I gave my toddler cousin an atomic wedgie with his diaper to prevent him from drowning. I have lived in only two houses, both in Redding . My first house had an orchard of fruit trees and many animals. Through out our time at the house we had 3 goats, 8 sheep, 2 dogs, and 6 cats; those are the ones I remember. My second house still has a collection of fruit trees and only 3 dogs and 2 cats. My first expression of art was on walls and dolls and wasn’t the most pleasing thing to look at. My friend was and still is a great artist, had we not been friends I most likely would not be as interested in art as I am today. I looked up to her as an artist and my art would end up having a very similar style as hers. But we have found our own styles and even though I am using my own brain to draw now, I still respect her as an artist and look to her for inspiration. I am constantly learning new techniques of art and expanding my media. I started out with a traditional style of drawing, but then I started to take and interest in painting and photography. More recently I have taken an interest in digital art and with the use of my mother’s very expensive camera I have become a better photographer with a better understanding of a camera. I will continue to explore the world of art and it won’t be one of the things of my list of things I gave up. (6 paragraphs, guess there was more to my life than I thought.)
