i first began painting with 2 beautiful and disciplined women when i was 15 /16 years old through high school.judy petch being a strong influence on drawing technique...the periods of 95,96,and parts of 97 i studied at a little art school in gippsland ,victoria,australia as part of monash university.i studied visual arts and took my high school studies along with me.i had at least six art teachers to study under, Julie Adams comes to memory as my next unfluence after mrs judy petch.both have a very similar teaching technique. the year 98 i broke up my studies to have my beautiful son now eleven,whom i put a paintbrush in his hand at no later than 9 months,and who is quite gifted in his own right.where would you find me during most days?out in the country with my camera or in the art room with a cd collection painting away. the artist who most touches me is edgar degas and has been since i can remember,i try to add a touch of degas even if it is in one tiny little stroke of white and i love to paint to the rythms of the music playing.
