Self Portrait

Born in Williamsburg New York City and experiencing life in many places throughout the world, Marisol Morales has a craving for the cubism work of Picasso and several current artists. Marisol's work reflects her bright, intense outlook on life. If you see hints of the fantastic, sometimes twisted work of Degas' and touches of wry humor, you have a good eye. Look around the collection, enjoy, and order what touches you.

Marisol's artistic talents began to show at the young age of five years old. By the forth grade she presented her mother with an abstract mobile heart in the shape of a woman in a hoopskirt. In the seventh grade she started still life sketching with Dr. Gross’ Operation and then went on to in art field at Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York and the Art Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In 2006, Marisol was honored “Woman of the Month” at the Landing in Jacksonville, Florida for Artwalk and at TTD architecture, also in Jacksonville.

Works in this collection vary from $35.00 to $3,000.00 (U.S. Currency). Media shown here includes oils, charcoal, ink, acrylic or mixed. marisol also enjoys the use of other artifacts, like ribbon, glitter, stones and cloth to enhance some of her work. Marisol enjoys comparisons to Picasso due to her love of bold and colorful focal points of interest on walls (and her works) with shades that are vibrant and striking.

Visual art specialist Marisol Morales of Marisol Colleciones modern artist invites you to see and experience her work.
