As a Christian Artist my inspiration comes from God first and the ordinary people that I interact with in my life!
My Drawings capture the spiritual life of these people in their journey to gain a closer relationship with the Lord through our prayers, life struggles, repentance, and faith in the word of God.
Often times hearing someones testimony at Church, or just hearing a statement made by someone sparks and image in my head that inspires me to draw, and the final piece becomes a voice from God to show everyone that God is real in every aspect of our lives. It is very important to the message that I capture how today’s society and culture look and dress; that surrealism creates a bond with the viewers.
My Art is more than just a mere expression of how I feel but also how many folks struggling with spiritual growth feel whether they realize it or not, I want people to see what they can’t express in words. Art is a connection with God and I and the creator has blessed me with the ability to connect with others using art as God’s supreme voice.
