Self Portrait

Mike is an Artist on a Mission. A Mission to change the world an 8th at a time. Born and raised in San Jose, Ca, Mike’s Art is inspired by his upbringing as well as the influence of daily life and an addiction to music. He enjoys long walks to the fridge, America’s Funniest Home Videos, and “slippin T'womps to the homeless“.

Mike is not a religious man, but like the Church, he uses religious symbolism to get his point across. Often with moral roles reversed. The common theme to his work is “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”.

Mike has painted live and worked with some of music’s top stars: Aesop Rock, Dead Prez,Flogging Molly, Qwel, Scarab, Sleep, 2Mex as well as a possible upcoming project with Atmosphere (fingers crossed) and local Bay Area Cali fav’s including: Insolence, Whiskey Avengers,DirtBag Dan, 880 South, Relapse, & Rise of the Revolution.

Quite often you can catch Mike painting live in front of the Stone Griffin Gallery in Downtown Campbell where some of his Art hangs, or at one of the many shows he participates in around the Bay both solo, and as a member of the Pacific Art Collective.
