Long day, but good. I love my new drawing it was a challenge but I pushed through and that feels good. I hope I can post it this weekend, but I know it will be busy so we will see. I have a list of ideas by my easel just waiting for time. Feeling thankful, wishing you all the best.

I've been struggling to rise above the pain and fatigue lately, I just have not created like I want to. Today was different though I drew, I painted, and it felt good as soon as the image is dry enough I will be posting it. I loved taking time for me but it is so hard these days, to find balance, between, my health, my home, and my art. Somedays I just want to hide in my studio paint and pretend there is no laundry waiting right around the corner. New work coming soon.

It's been a busy week and I didn't have much time to create. I hope I have more time next week. I got a bunch done, but so much is left to do. I cant wait till our new house is done and for the first time I have a real space to create that wasn't a closet, kitchen table, or computer desk. so close yet so far. I want work with my colored pencils and some other things I don't use much next week, but we will see. I'm headed to bed now tired, but happy.

So busy today but get lots done despite the tropical storm raging outside. My new Facebook group is up and running I’m so excited. The group is for Free Art, fun tips, cool tricks, free downloads, and free classes. Plus discounts and early accesses to my art, products and classes. , It is Mitzi Art and Soul on Facebook Groups. Hopefully I will be able to go live later on there, we will see. This was my watercolor sketch from last night. Just a quick study to relax and plan a larger piece.

Busy day. We had family in town last week and I got almost nothing done. I have a list of calls and errands, but also time for setting up a free online painting demo on my Facebook group. I hope I can get at lest half my list done, but we will see. I’m excited but tired. I can’t wait to do the demo but it’s a lot of work to get ready. The rest of my list I’m just trying to get through so I can art. Some days when I’m tired and hurting motivation to do household stuff is so hard to find, I mean I really just want to draw and sleep, but life! I’m an optimist so I believe tomorrow will be better. Hers to every today leading to a better tomorrow.

I found time to work on two large acrylic paintings and I’m so happy I’d forgotten how much fun big brushes, and supper vibrant colors are. The smell, the feel, the way it moves on the canvas, I love acrylic paint. I didn’t have long but it was enough to lift my spirits. We had family in town for a week and I love it but I had almost no time to create and it left me drained. Today I rested tomorrow I paint and try agin to get my YouTube video up. Being chronically ill is so frustrating when you want to go and do, but instead you take a nap because that’s all you can do. Feeling blessed anyway. Have a good one and be creative. Finished this piece yesterday. It was fun to play with the texture too.

Busy day with family but I got a few minutes this evening to sketch. This was a quick fun highway scene I created from some references online. Hopping I can get my pain under control quick and get to bed.

I was up early and it was a bear but I made it, not mush time to create but I found a few minutes so I’m thankful for that. I worked with Acrylics and I do so love to work with them. I knew I wouldn’t have long so I did a small piece but it was so relaxing non the less. I dislocated a rid, and twisted something in my neck this evening so it’s been rough. Maybe I’ll finally get my X-ray and start working on my back. I hare being sick. I experimented with a colorful under painting. A unique challenge after months of only watercolor. Looking forward to a few big pieces soon.

I spent almost a week to sick to really creat. I spent a little while today painting, and would have painted more if only I could have. Between migraines, back pain, and blurred vision, I was forced to leave this piece for another day. I hate being sick, but it’s thought me so much, I have so much on plate tomorrow it’s hard to not be overwhelmed, so I’ll pray and just put one foot in front of the other. I hope to be posting the pice I completed today in the morning. Blessings.
