Bio Charles Gresalfi is an artist whose interests are as diverse as his background. Raised on Long Island, New York, he holds Art degrees from three Universities and a certificate from the Accademia delle Belle Arti, Rome, where he received a scholarship. His professional experience encompasses a broad spectrum, from early commercial work with a large NYC advertising studio, to serving as an illustrator for the US Navy. Finding his true love in teaching, he completed a 30-year career in art education, both at the secondary level and later as a college instructor. He has through the years received countless awards, exhibiting in both NYS and in California with gallery shows in the Sonoma Valley and San Francisco. Charles lives in Santa Rosa, Northern CA., where he continues to teach classes in painting and is active in a number of Art organizations.
