Born 12-20-48 in Hartford, Connecticut. Lived in New England until age 19. Moved to San Jose, CA in 1969 after attending Castleton State College in Vermont for two years. Majored in Photojournalism at San Jose State and earned a BA degree in 1971. Majored in Mass Communications from 1971-73. Started own photo business in 1974 until present. Owns studio in downtown Santa Clara, CA. Began painting abstracts in 2004. Always enjoyed major artists such as Dali, Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Michaelangelo, Nieman and others. More recently, studied later artists such as Klee, Kandinsky, Pollock, Motherwell, Twombly, Diebenkorn, Rothko, Krasner, Joan Mitchell, Picasso and more.
