I was born in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina on the 30th of March 1978. After Gymnasium graduation in Vitez I got into Academy of Fine Arts in Široki Brijeg, University of Mostar in 1997. Next year I won the Rector’s Best student award. In 2002 I graduated as Academic Painter and professor of Visual arts.
From 2002 to 2005 I worked as half-time teacher of Visual Arts in school “Biograci” in Široki Brijeg. From 2002 to 2006 I worked as half-time professor in Gymnasia “A.B. Šimic” in Grude, and from 2005 in Gymnasia Mostar. In 2003 I worked as part time teacher in Fine Arts school “Gabrijel Jurkic” in Mostar. In 2005 I spend some time as professional adviser in Ministry of Civil Affairs involved in making a Curriculum of Visual Art for BiH students abroad. From 2005 I’m teaching Visual Arts according to IB curriculum in UWC Mostar.
During my artistic involvement I’ve participated in numerous group exhibitions, humanitarian actions, and art colonies in BiH and abroad (Široki Brijeg, Vitez, Grude, Mostar, Sarajevo, Zagreb, Vinkovci, Dubrovnik, Metkovic, Capljina, Imotski, Tuzla etc.). In 2007 I was rewarded for my painting by independent society of artists “En Face”. Same year I had my own show in Grude. This year I’ve organized a conceptual exhibition of paintings called “Process” in Gallery “Mala” in Croatian Cultural Center “H. S. Kosaca” in Mostar, and I’m planning to have my exhibitions in Novi Travnik in March, and Gallery Aluminium in Mostar in May.
