I am a self taught artist working mostly in graphite. I have always loved the black and white photo quality that graphite can create. I started drawing at a very early age and continued through my school years. I only started drawing portraits early this year. I love portrait art and hope to branch out and learn to paint my portraits. I have been disabled for ten years now due to chronic kidney/bladder illness, losing one kidney already. Art gives me a release. I can take it with me to the hospital or where ever I may be. I have just started to sell some of my portraits and have been amazed at the response I have gotten. I can only hope that I will continue to learn, to improve, and to become a great artist.
