Unique talented young Artist Colin Matthew has drawn Attention and Accolade through his harmonious abstract Style of Painting. Utilizing a vivid and very creative ethereal Imagination, Colin grew up constantly traveling and painting. His abstract and imaginative Style celebrates the expressive Qualities of Reflection, Repetition and Symmetry. His symmetrical Images are ambiguous and open to individual interpretation.
"My work is packed with symmetrical forms, like they exist in Nature. Practically all creatures, even one-celled animals contain two mirrored halves. Radial Symmetry is found in most plants and where actual symmetry is missing in nature, there is asymmetrical balance."
