I was born in Brisbane in 1959. As a young child, I was always attracted to anything creative, teaching myself how to draw. From having an innate artistic intuitiveness and through the use of symbolic images I create works that speak about universal emotional responses to the world in which we live. As a professional artist, I mainly sell my work by word-of-mouth and by commission. As my work is of a surrealist or fantasy genre, I do like to change my themes or topics and mediums depending on what the image communicates to me, using colour to evoke emotion. My artistic influences come from such artist as Pre-Raphaelites Frank Frazetta, Barry Windsor-Smith, Boris Vallejo and Bernie Wrightson. Deciding to further my skills, I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology, majoring in Communication Design in 2000. My work has included fine art, car & wall murals, CD covers, T-shirt designs, Digital 3D and web designs. My clients have included Movieworld, Roadrunner Records, the Myers Centre, and Robinson’s Themescapes.
