Hi: My name is Darlene. I am just getting back on Art Wanted after a long absence. I am a two time cancer survivor which is what started my love of photography. I needed an escape from the pain of the cancer and chemo and radiation. Taking pictures made me feel alive again and I never realized how much beauty there is in the world. Once you think you may lose your life, you develop a whole new love of the smallest thing and you can see something beautiful each and everyday that you normally would ignore. Take time to smell the roses and look around you.
