Artist Bio

James is a Landscape and Figurative painter, based in the Grampian Highlands of Scotland, UK. The wild land and seascape, the rich source of light and colour of his surroundings are strong influences on his work, bringing a sense of drama to each subject and situation.

James studied at Edinburgh College of Art, has exhibited widely at home and abroad. Has recieved several awards, notably the`Salon des Nations International Exhibition of Contemporary Art. Works in both public and private collections throughout the UK, France and USA.
