I'm a 40 year old happily married father of three.I have been drawing all of my life.I had some great opportunities when I was younger to draw for major companies but managed to blow them from lack of patience.I have recently started painting,although my favorite subject is cartooning.I plan on putting some of those on here as soon as I figure this crazy scanner out.Basically I just love to take raw materials and create something beautiful or amazing out of it.I take care of a young man confined to a wheelchair.Last year for halloween I used cardboard and transformed his chair into a flying saucer.He won a costume contest at the mall,but the fun part was amazing the small children there.It looked real!This year,in memory of his father,he wants to be a Peterbilt truck.I'll put some pics of the process on my myspace so everyone can see.But being able to use my talent to make this young man smile is worth more than any amount of money I could make.God has blessed all of us here with a talent to make the world more beautiful.I feel honored to be among the artists that I have seen on this site.
