I have drawn pictures all my life. I am mostly self-taught and have worked in graphite pencil until, as an adult, I tried a watercolor class and started to work with color. Now that I've discovered colored pencil and pastels, I really enjoy color...but oh, so many choices! I have done freelance artwork for years...whatever someone wants drawn or painted. I am now trying to focus on illustrating for children. I like the fact that I can do something quickly and inject humor into my art. I have been happily married to a wonderful guy for over 25 years now and have two adult sons, who have been the inspiration for much of my work. :)
