I am studied interior design in Paris and Bordeaux before embarking on a successful career transforming homes of the French capital with Trompe I'oeil and other decorative efects, but my fine art is a complete contrast, in my Galaxy series there is an etherial delicacy redolent of water, light and air. Translucent rainbow shimmering colours have been used along with techniques which I have devised myself, to create paintings which are intended to be abstract, but seem to be alive with movement and spirit-bodies. the Mask paintings are in the style of church Icons, many of them represent West African deities including Gods which protect the home.
Erics other specialities include what he calls Furniture Tranformations, - the gilding and patination which can transform ordinary good quality furniture into what appear to be priceless antiques.
He continues: "We have too much stress in this life - everything goes to quickly. I want to help people to relax, to smile. I want them to come home and forget about the outside world.
