I am a self-taught artist, native of Cuba and a resident and citizen of the US for over 40 years. My love for portraiture began during my teen years when I drew portraits for my friends and family. After my children were grown I concentrated more on my art work, took some private lessons to learn new techniques and have since been commissioned by families, private businesses, schools and large corporations, including The Home Depot and The Arthur Blank Family Foundation.
