Dennis is a freelance illustrator based in Auckland, New Zealand. He has worked for local clients such as the Pulp Magazine, Songs for kids and Loud Magazine. His work includes CD covers, book illustrations, Editorial and Fashion illustrations, advertising and portraits.

Brought up in an Asian culture and educated in a Western society, He loves the synthesis created by the crash of 2 different aesthetics. He often likes to mix different techniques such as watercolor, pencil, ink, digital and Acrylic. You can see a lot of Chinese and Japanese art influence in his work. He like to create something that brings joy, hope and humor, and daily life is a very important source of my ideas.

To help selling my clients product by doing creative illustration is my first priority. I often pushed the idea to the edge and insert something humorous as much as I can, in order to achieve a better result. And receiving grateful comments from my clients is definitely something keeps me working hard. And one of my works is going to be printed on a Converse Chuck Taylor in next spring, which is very exciting!
