I'm a 20 year old Canadian freelance artist, and by "freelance" I pretty much mean I draw and just give away some of my drawings to family, friends or projects for school. Some others that I like I keep; I've never really sold any of my pictures.
Basically, I started doing art since I was 5 years old by tracing pictures of dinosaurs from colouring books. It snowballed from there and I eventually started drawing freehand and memory.
Now I just do it on my spare time, or during University lectures if I'm really bored. I mostly draw comic book characters like Spiderman, and Batman (especially my interpretations/renditions of Alex Ross' superhero paintings) but nowadays I'm shifting my focus more towards graffiti/aerosol art.
