I was born in 1969 in Tehran and grew up in a warm family environment. My father was an army officer and my mother chose to stay at home and look after her three children. I started photography in 1990 and having completed my preliminary training at the "Youth Cinema Association of Tehran" I set up a compact laboratory and embarked on what was in his my words an experimental stage in my career. After several years I was fortunate enough to meet "Masoud Massoumie" who is considered by many to be a master of commercial photography in Iran. I learnt so much form him and it was with his encouragement that I established my own studio. I've been working as a professional photographer since that time.
