I'm a self taught abstractionist, realism and figurative painter. I love to work with oils, color pencils and pastels to create images that I see with my third eye and my color choices allows my work to really come alive. My relationship with my canvas and paper is a very unique and special one and it allows me express my most inner and personal feelings. My work can be political, controversial and strong, but what I paint comes from the heart and soul and I want to share those feelings with the world. Also, I love to paint figures and show the beauty that women of color possess. I hope you can enjoy my journey and SEE my art for what it really is and that is MY truth.
