My first painting was at the age of 12 years and I have enjoyed painting and drawing since that time. I am basically self taught through art books, seminars, informative literature, observation, association with other artists and a desire to learn. I went to enroll in an art class in the early years but, every artist's renderings on canvas looked the same. My goal was to form my own style and technique. My first sale of a painting was at the age of 25. Sales of my artwork have been across the U.S. We have enjoyed gallery representation, juried exhibits, festivals, historic events, personal exhibits, doctor's suites, medical center and a book cover for an Alaskan Author. They have been wonderful experiences.
