Fletcher Derrick is a semi retired Urologist who has been painting seriously for 4 years. He studied at The Gibbes Art Gallery, The College of Charleston and under several artist locally and in workshops.
His main reason for learning to paint was to paint the faces of his roses (he grows about 120 bushes at his home at 12 Orange Street, Charleston SC).
His paintings have included the faces of some of his roses and recently landscapes and buildings.
It has been a wonderful part of my life.
