As an artist I am always looking for inspiration. Most of the time I find it in the faces of strangers and their subtle expressions of suffering, gratitude, content, discontent, sorrow, etc. Recently the expressions of trees have affected me in a similar manner which is apparent in my latest series entitled Naked Trees. I gather images of Naked Trees from my favorite outdoor places ranging from parks in my neighborhood to the back country of Yosemite.
