They take the images outside them for reality and never allow the world within to assert itself." -Herman Hesse ...one of my favorite quotes. Art allows the world within me to assert itself. I've always loved that about art, ever since I was wee little. Art to me is something beyond words...as far as I'm concerned, words were never needed. It's something instinctive. The world seen through my eyes would be difficult to convey with words. People know art when they see it, most appreciate it. If you cannot do either...sucks for you. Music is my other outlet. I play the violin, and I LOVE IT! It gives me a feeling of total happiness. Eventually I'll branch out and learn other instruments (hopefully) but right now...I'm stuck in school. I occasionally write poetry, but like I said earlier, I feel some kind of restriction with words and can never express all I want. I'm also attempting to write a novel; a fantasy novel. I love to create new worlds. I'll post some pictures of the characers. And now, to close it off, here's another one of my favorite quotes: "The truth is often a terrible weapon of aggression. It is possible to lie, and even murder for the truth." -Alfred Adler There are so many different realities and truths out there, and everybody thinks their truth is the only one. It's absurd...I dont see why we can't get along. We are so eager to discriminate. Blah. I firmly believe that differences aren't worth killing for.
