I am an English and Social Science teacher in Heidelberg, South Africa. Photography has been a hobby of mine for 15 years. My initial interest in photography was simply to document the family's trips to the Kruger. Gradually, however, my motivation changed from family photos to wanting to capture on film the emotional response to the unfolding visual imagery. It is the image of African that enthralls people, the wide open spaces, the crashing waterfalls, the soaring mountaintops, but most of all...THE UNTAMED WILDERNESS.
