ARTIST STATEMENT
Every day I am delighted to experience the vast, never-ending beauty and amazing complexities in Nature. I am fascinated by chaos and harmony coexisting in Nature. These elements join forces in my work.
By reaching a stream of consciousness, to form a complicated balance of marks, lines and fine detailing, I am able to create a unique variety of abstractions.
My work is meant to trigger the viewer's own unconscious thoughts, enabling them to visualize primordial plant life, animals and landscapes. Everyone has experienced thoughts and visions within themselves and each is unique only to the individual. My work influences the viewer's perception, allowing them to see an array of things within the drawing, unique to that person alone.
