Living in the country, near Senatobia, MS, (about 40 miles South of Memphis, TN) I am a native of Tate County, MS. As the proud descendent of a long line of farmers, the subjects I usually paint all relate directly to my upbringing in the country. I have a deep, abiding love and respect for this land and it's flora and fauna--all of which are God's creations. My preferred painting mediums are watercolor and acrylics. I have recently started to experiment in abstract paintings which are definately not what I usually paint--though, I have found them to be a lot of fun! I am a very proud co-founder of the Artist Network of North Mississippi, a board member of the Sycamore Arts Council, Senatobia, MS, and I hope you enjoy my art as much as I have enjoyed my painting experience.
